Michael Frost - Brought up at Colchester Road as a child in the Sunday School, Michael went to The London Bible College. After a time teaching, he was ordained in the Baptist ministry. He had pastorates in Huddersfield and Middlesex. Michael died from cancer when he was 39. His widow and three little girls came back to live in Ipswich. His mother was a deacon of the church.
Peter & Phyllis Mead - responded to a "One Step Forward" campaign held in the church in 1969. They offered their services to Bures Baptist Church and Peter was inducted on 23rd August 1969.
Pat Mead - is the eldest daughter of Peter and Phyllis, and went to the London Bible College to train as a teacher in Religious Education.
Margaret Parker - a nurse, who went to Zaire with Baptist Missionary Society for a term of service. A special Commissioning Service was held at the church on 6th September 1968, prior to her departure to what was then known as the Belgian Congo.
Sybil Green - came to Ipswich as a teacher at the Girls' High School in Westerfield Road. She joined the church and later went into full-time work with the Scripture Union.
Irwin Buchanan - a most active member of the church as a teenager, but didn't return to live in Suffolk when he had taken his degree at Reading University. He and his wife, with their young children, are working with Interserve in Pakistan.
Nick Knightley- a contemporary of Irwin at school, at Colchester Road and at Reading University. Nick worked in the Philippines until recently. Now in this country with his wife and young family, he is working for TradeCraft.
Steve Wilson - after a dramatic conversion, of which he spoke on "Songs of Praise", Steve as an active member of the church whilst working locally and studying at the Suffolk College. He went to Cardiff to train as a physiotherapist and now lives with his wife in Lancaster, where he practises privately.
Ruth Greening - coming to this country from Australia, Ruth trained as a midwife in Ipswich and joined the church. After training at "All Nations Bible College" she married and is living in North Africa with her husband.
Richard Tomlinson - came to Colchester Road when he was purser on the OM Ship LOGOS. He joint the church but, with his background of mission interest, later felt called to work with the London City Mission. He is working in London with his wife and daughter, with special emphasis on bringing Jewish people to a saving knowledge of Jesus, the Messiah.
